Specific Conditions: (a) The licences are granted only for a period of 5 years. The licence will expire on 30 June 2029. Pursuant to regulation 11(a)(ii) of the Regulations, a licence is valid only until the expiry date specified in the licence. (b) The reason for the licence being granted is to support existing Wildlife Tracking Transmitters. The licence is not granted, nor can it be used, for any other purpose. (c) The grant of this licence on the conditions set out in this letter for a fixed term does not create any expectation that the licence will be renewed at the expiry of the licence period, nor does it create any expectation that an identical or similar licence will be granted in the future. (d) The Department of Conservation will instruct radio users on how to operate the devices to avoid interference to services licenced. (e) Should interference occur to services licensed pursuant to a radio licence or a spectrum licence, the chief executive reserves the right to require and ensure that any transmission or any emission pursuant to this Licence change frequency, reduce power, or cease operation. |
